Our client has an immediate opening for an energetic and experienced Project Engineer. This position is responsible for facilitating communications and coordination between the field, engineers, subcontractors, vendors and accounting to assist in meeting the project schedule and the safe construction of our prestressed concrete tank structures with the highest quality. The Project Engineer has full involvement in tank construction from project start to completion.

Since 1930, they have been the leader in the design and construction of wire-wound prestressed concrete tank structures for water storage, wastewater treatment and storage, thermal energy storage and industrial uses. Job Requirements

A brief description of the responsibilities for this position are as follows:
  • Assist with project development
  • Prepare and transmit submittal packages with the assistance of our Engineering Department
  • Prepare project schedules
  • Attend site visits and monthly construction progress meetings to assess project construction
  • Make visits to the site to ensure the safe and high quality construction of our projects
  • Interface with Subcontractors, Engineers and Owners
The ideal candidate should have excellent verifiable professional references and the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform independently with strong time management skills
  • Possess a team oriented focus and strong attention to detail
  • Expertise in concrete construction including concrete mix properties, concrete placement and finishing
  • Expertise in Project Scheduling software such as Primavera or MS Project is desirable
  • This position requires travel to the project construction site. The amount of travel required varies but could be as much as 3 to 4 days per week, 2 to 3 weeks per month.
